Lorien Hoey
Design and Product Director

I'm Lorien, Product & Design Director at L.A-Space,
I studied Textile Art, Design and Fashion at the University of Ulster in Belfast, specialising in knitwear and pattern cutting. I started my career working on ‘Game of Thrones’ as a trainee seamstress, and then moved into my passion which is Fashion Design working across different roles over the years within the industry.
Like most designers, I get inspired by beautiful and high-quality fabrics, but I must admit for me - there’s something most special about creating an amazing shape that can flatter and make the wearer feel their absolute best, that motivates me the most.
Building L.A-Space with Lorna and the team has been the most incredible experience, setting the foundations and watching the brand grow and really come to life has been a real 'pinch me' moment.

Jessica Cadwallader

I’m Jess, Head of Technical & Quality here at L.A-Space. I have worked in the fashion industry for 15 years following the completion of my degree in Fashion Design, Manufacturing, Marketing & Promotion at the University of Huddersfield.
Specialising in Manufacture & Pattern Cutting, I started my career as a Garment Technologist. My background has seen me work for a number of brands both in the UK, & overseas, working across a large range of products, gaining exceptional knowledge on fabrics, construction methods and manufacturing processes. You will often find me with a tape measure around my neck and pins very close by!
By following my passion for high quality, exceptionally premium products which exceed customer expectation; LA Space is where I have found ‘my SPACE’ within the fashion industry.
Jade Arnell

Hi! I’m Jade, and I’m Head of Brand here at L.A-Space. My role is responsible for the management of the company’s brand - that includes maintaining a brand image, and directing the design and execution of marketing campaigns to ensure they comply with our brand image and ethos. I have worked in the fashion industry for 10 years, starting my career as a Fit Model, I was lucky enough to work closely with many different departments across Creative and Product teams, allowing me to gain invaluable knowledge and experience of all things image and branding. Helping to build L.A-Space and watching it come to life has been a real passion project for me and I’m so excited for the world to see what we create.
Morgan Fenton

Hi, I’m Morgan, Merchandising Consultant, aka a ‘numbers nerd’. Being a Freelancer over the last few years has meant I’ve had the opportunity to work for many different companies, giving me the privilege of constant variation in my roles, which I thrive on. Despite loving the autonomy, you can often feel like the outsider for not being completely immersed in a team 24/7, however, helping to build the L.A-Space brand with Lorna and alongside the best talent in the industry has made me feel like part of a dream team. Ordinarily my role is very data driven and is centred on planning and trading through stock, however, as this is a start-up it’s been the complete opposite. I’ve dabbled in most roles imaginable… and it’s been a blast!

Most of my career has been working with some of the biggest names in fashion and luxury, so I am beyond excited to be a part of the launch of LA Space and working with a great team.
When I’m not heads-down in data I’m either playing football, playing padel, or running, and will be attempting next year’s London Marathon!

Hi! I’m Yasmin Khan, a professionally trained makeup artist with nearly ten years of industry experience. I am half Pakistani, originally from Berlin but have lived in London for the last 15 years.
My expertise is predominantly fashion editorial, but I have also designed feature films and commercial work. My make-up artistry journey began as a personal exploration and has evolved into an exciting career, having been involved in high-profile collaborations, fashion shows, and magazine features.
I have a passion for transcending conventional beauty norms through captivating artistry, skilfully accentuating natural beauty while pushing artistic boundaries, and redefining the possibilities of makeup. You can see more of my work over on my Instagram, and maybe even some L.A-Space BTS!

Francesca Harris

I am Francesca Harris, from Essex. I’m a videographer/editor and I have been freelance for 3 & 1/2 years now. I studied TV & Film Production at the University of Greenwich and after I graduated, I worked inhouse as Fashion Videographer for a brand, I really grew my love for this type of videography and built my knowledge and skills up. Being a Videographer I feel is so much more than just capturing content for a client, it is curating a vision and an idea and bringing it to life through video form. Telling a story, showing people things they may not have been able to understand through words. It is a way of connecting to people in visual and artist form.
Being a videographer means I shoot a lot of video. Whether that is campaigns, social or web. I also specialise in Fashion and Beauty.

I’m Emily Delphine, the photographer for the L.A Space campaign. I’m not amazing at writing bios so I will keep it short and sweet! I grew up in suburbia outside of Melbourne Australia, my high school definitely wasn’t the kind of school that took photography seriously as a career choice, but sometimes you have to go with your gut and that’s what I did! It’s not always been smooth ride, but I love everyday of it. My favourite part is the amazing people I get to work with being able to have so many creative people around you is a true blessing. I’ve made lifelong friends doing this job and I’m so grateful.

My Name is Camilla Christensen, and I’m from Denmark. I was raised at a farm an hour outside of Copenhagen - I live in the city centre now!
I went to The Royal Danish Ballet and had to commute back and forth between the farm and the ballet my whole childhood.
I’ve been modelling now for more than 13 years, and I’ve loved every bit of it. I have worked with both major photographers and small ones – everyone brings something different to the table which is really fun to be around. I’ve been lucky enough to feature in campaigns all over the world. What I love the most about modelling is how different every day is.

I’m Natalie O’Brien, born and raised in Hertfordshire. Over the last 3 years I have worked across all sectors of the modelling industry; from editorial to commercial and on more recent ventures, spanned to TV and Film - namely starring in Greta Gerwig, and Margot Robbie’s box office smash it – ‘Barbie’. Yes, I spent 3 months in Barbie-Land, and I loved every minute!
The career motto I channel is ‘effortlessly giving'. To ‘give’ is to turn my clients’ visions into reality. Be that through body language, working the various looks, styles, moods, and characters… Essentially, I am a versatile and exceptionally grateful, chameleon.
